Got the ecu from my 2006 2.5 Sti.

 

you got one goin spare Dunc? Think i'm gonna go with the wrx intake manifold, throttle and loom just to get the car mobile and M.O.T'd but want the AVCS, so need the 2.5 ecu.
You'd be able to tell me if my ecu will run my new set up....

Was ECUTEK mapped for
vf34 hybrid,
fmic,
full TSL 3" exhaust, uppipe an manifold,
short air intake
supersonic bov
550cc injectors
fuel pump, (walbro? can't remember the make)
think that was it....

Also, I want to do away with the tgv's and use the new sti intake manifold, with the avcs butterflys disconnected...
Can I use a resistor on the plug, or disable on the ecu so i don't get a cel...

Any advice you can give is appreciated Dunc, cheers.

 

if yours is a UK wrx (pre 06) ecu it wont work the avcs.

TGV's are easy to switch off the CEL's in the ECU. I did that when i removed mine on the std ecu.
