Im with you on that 1 mate .. except ive already bought the apexi power fc ... so i might have 1 for sale if its the wrong1 ive neva seen in talked about with regards to the colour of the pins .... im guessing matty is talkin about the colour of the pins that connect from car to the ecu ... but still unsure what has to match up, i just thought a four pin was 4 early classic then u get the three pin ect ect ... very confused !!

rich what year is ur car ?? if u have a early classic ( prefacelift ) then u will need a 4 pin but u need to make sure the apexi comes off a prefacelift ... what matty is saying is that there is also a 4 pin for the late facelift ... when u lift the carpet to find the ect on the pasenger side u will see the plugs going into ur ecu are yellow .. ( same as mine ) i just done understand the diffence between the ecus ( wether the plugs are a diffent shape on the later model ?

crazy there is so many differnce on the 88/00 car diffenrt maf's idel controls basicall everything is differnt so the ecu needs to be the correct year for the car it be basically impossible to run a version 5/6 grey plug ecu on a 4 pin yellow connector year car also be carefully as version 3/4 have yellow connectors but only use 3 plugs but the ecu appear to have 4 plug sockets 1 is not used just to add more confussion to the mix
basically buy the correct ecu for the correct car else you have waisted your money guys check before you buy
