The best person to speak too is Mark Aigin alias R19KET on here for advice.

I can have a word with him if you want - the best are definately not Cosworth pistons - I have seen the best and they are gorgeous! Also consider uprated the rods and get the heads gasflowed - then you can get very decent power - certainly 350bhp plus with the right turbo!

Agree with Trout, Cossie pistons are not the best about, they are however easier to obtain. JE Pistons would get my vote for being the best about. I am yet to try them, but Cossie pistons can have holes blown in them almost as easy as normal units.

I agree with trout.

I once proposed to these pistons as I wanted to spend the rest of my life with them, but they declined, Eventually I got bored asking, and by the time that was over they were too small for me.

Seriously though, coated JE pistons with a teflon skirt are very nice, but I dont know that there is anything wrong with omega, farndon etc.

Even standard sti pistons are supposed to be good. Its the rods which are the weakest link.

Aside fromt hat I definitely agree with trout.

1. Ask Mark Aigin
2. Get heads worked on too.
