Is there anybody out there local that would borrow me a td04 front entry just to see if it my turbos are no good.
I dont want to buy another as the vf30 I bought off here EEEK £300 seems to letting more smoke out the exhaust than the knackard td04 td04


£££££ not good would only take a hour to fit

 

Checked compression 150 all round On a cold motor

 

150 seems about right really for a turbo'd motor, was all the pots even?

try it again on a warm lump and see what that throws up.

 

Starts smoking from start up soon as you rev

 

Does it only smoke when you start it up?

Does it smoke when pulling away from idle, say after you've sat in traffic for a while?

 

soon as you rev it m8 when i had a td04 on it it looks like it not in bad condition as the vf 30 ive put on off my build
