Classic Alloy Front Wings
Hi all,
After a pair of front alloy wings to fit my 96STI. Must be in good condition but scratches not a problem as I'm going to respray them so any colour is fine.
Thanks, Richard.

Bump for this thread as it's something i've been looking into.
Information is scarce, but unless i'm being misled, aluminium/alloy wings for a classic DO exist, as factory items.
Does anybody know for sure what models etc they were fitted on?

No they're not all alloy, that's just a daft uninformed comment. "Specialist"? In his dreams!
Yep they're readily available and there's nothing wrong with the wings on my car, i'm just in pursuit of as much weight saving as i can. I'm talking to a chap on Ebay now who says he's got a pair. I will insist on a magnet test and report back!!

There is no such thing- they are SO thin and light anyway there would be naff all reason for them to make them out of aluminium.
The plastic cr@p attached to them weigh almost more....

Actually i'm delighted if that's the case as it has saved me a trip to Bournemouth to collect a pair of "alloy" wings
I'll see if the Ebay seller concedes once he's dug out a magnet
