As title,
I'm after a Hawk STI TMIC and undertray if anyone has/is upgrading?

temps started spiking after that so was as far as it was taken.

 

I might take up the leaf blower idea before i go fmic

 

with the price of a certain top mount i would hope it came as a free gift

 

It's for a TD05 18G so should be perfect, no plans to go higher.

 

Is there much difference between blob and hawk tmic? Would have thought theyd be similar? Seen a few blob ones forsale just the undertray will be hard to source

 

I had a bug one, as the bug/blob have the 2L and the hawk has the 2.5 the bug/blob TMIC's are too big, to do with the whole position being closer to the bulkhead due to the bigger block of the 2.5, They will fit but not ideal was actually touching the AC pipes, not good when the engine and everything attached starts moving about when driving!

The Hawk STI TMIC is a little wider but not as deep (front to back), it's also a more efficient design.

All this also means that of course the undertrays are a different shape, the bug STI one fitted perfectly to my Hawk WRX scoop/bonnet but would not fit the different shape of the Hawk STI TMIC if I found one... so only a Hawk STI TMIC and undertray will do

 

Gutted it always ends up bein the more expensive route, youd prob be cheaper with fm, im sure youll find one
