Is there any particular reason you want a jdm model? Just because of the stronger internals?

Lol. The only reason I asked about the internals is I was in the same boat when I was looking for one. But my main concern was the 2.5ltr UK internals (as I was after a hawk). But then I came across a UK hawk that had JUST been rebuilt and ran in by a main dealer and ended up going for that.
But now I'm looking to sell mine so if it was mainly the whole UK 2.5 internal issue then the OP may have been interested in mine. But if it's for the other bits and bobs then fair enough lol

Tell me about, I CRAVE a rear wiper lol! And even looked at retro-fitting folding mirrors but my main desire was the rear wiper haha. Hate not being able to see 100% (well as close as you can get to 100% with that big wing obstructing your view!) out the rear!
And literally whilst writing this I've just realised the new car I'm getting to replace my hawk hasn't got a rear wiper either!!! Bollocks!!!

Got mine a few years ago and love it!

Rear wiper makes a difference and yet the reversing Buzzer gets annoying very easily ( do I need to know I am reversing?)

only faux pas is the having to Depress the Clutch to start the car, only a switch on the clutch needs removed to get rid of that. turning over a high power engine and twin plate clutch with the pedal pressed unduly stresses the clutch and engine.

Get one, you will not be disappointed.
