I have priced up 4 x Toyos from a local supplier, but before I take the 'plunge' and order new ones, does anyone have a set of 4 tyres for sale.

Not fussed on make but a known brand would be good.

I bought the Nankang NS2's from them last year for my old classic and they were pretty capable tyres to be honest for normal everyday driving.

 

Are they for a classic? I thought 215/40/17 was the correct size, or 205/45/17.
Newage can have 215/45/17 or like I have now, 225/45/17.

 

Relative to the 205/ 50/ 16 tyre the 205/ 40/ 17 is closer BUT if you're offset's pretty much standard you'll not lose TOO much comfort going down the 215/ 45/ 17 route from the 205/ 50/ 16

 

For a classic and they fit ok, or rather the wheels came off a classic and fit ok).

The 215 with the 45 profile fills the arches more than a 40 profile.
