If you have a reg like 'S600BYV' surely the intention is for people to notice it

If you want to remain anonymous, something like X247TBV is a much better bet.

Hi Tom,

As I explained in my mail to you last night (which you replied to!), I deleted the post in General as it had the number plate in the title. For security etc, there is a policy of not putting number plates on the board. Mod's cannot edit titles, hence the only option was to delete the post.

Hi Tom, it was me! Didn't see you, but then I was concentrating on getting past the pack!

As far as the plate goes, I know that some don't like it, but I don't care, like someone said, I've only got the plate for a pose so I don't car where it gets seen.

What you got Tom, and where were you?

How much of the fun did you see? Just reminded me how quick these cars are in comparison to every other thing on the road!

Just out of interest, a question for the moderators (or anyone else). What's wrong with having your number plate posted on the bbs? I have always complied with the rule but never really thought about why!

I'm not a criminal but even I can get a number plate made up with YOUR reg onnit, and put onna scoob (or wotever you drive).It wont have a BS mark or a postcode of the "dealer" who made it up.If you cant work out wot "criminal activities" implies then pull yer head outa your ****, coz I aint tellin ya.!

so when you walk down the street you have your eyes closed then ? caus every car has a number plate on show . so why dont you take your head out your ***. also would you buy a number plate that was for sale that you didnt know the reg of caus your saying it should be blanked. dumb *** .
