So were you the driver of the UK300 with the personalised plate P300 *** and subaru sun strips front and back?
If so then we were in the white Corsa van that was following you for a while once we got out of the circuit (after a 3 hour wait...)

There was a nice P1 in the Campsite carpark, my MY95 saloon a Green Mica/GoldWheel saloon and a couple of others.
Was there from Friday, and to be honest after the second stoppage of the stock race, our party decided we'd had as much sun as we could handle. Left and was home (90miles away) in time for the Live coverage of the 2nd WSB race on BBC.

Well I doubt I will ever go again after yesterdays nightmare journey home. I live 34 miles away from the circuit and it took us just under 5 hours to get home. Over 3 hours of that were spent just getting out of the car park.
Apparently there was an accident just outside the circuit which caused the massive delays. I wouldn't mind but the same thing happened when I last went in 2000.
This is the first year we haven't camped over so I fully understand why you left before the end. For me WSB has become a victim of its own success which is why next year I will be watching at home in a nice comfortable chair, £35 richer and I might actually get to see some it it!

Joey, nope he was the other UK300 and the traffic sucked big time I ended turning left from the carpark and after a bit of zen navigation ended back on the M25...only to sit in more traffic!

Went 2 years ago (just for the Sunday) and took that 3 hours to get out of the car park - at 1 point we parked up and went back in for an hour, came back and we'd lost 30ft in the queue. Glad I left when I did now

car drivers were just lined up going nowhere. stewards didn't seem to have much of a clue...

As I said I left early this year. My mate was on his bike. He'd moved his bike from the bike park to next t my car a little earlier. We got back to my car in the worst of the heat (just before it went cloudy I beleive). I stick the A/C on and shut the doors. Whilst I watch him put his leathers on. Within 2 mins he was looking very uncomfortable. When he left (5 mins later after sorting tank bag etc) he was ready to drop. I just got in an ice cold car . Cant imagine being in leathers for 45mins going nowhere
