We were there yesterday, before heading off to Osmotherley to see friends (used to live there). No one waved at us, except a miserable git who shook his head as I started the car in Tesco's car park. He kept chuntering on, to the extent I asked him if there was a problem. He walked on quickly...

I live in Northallerton, just about given up waving, quite a few scoobs around seem to be mainly silver classic shape but no one waves. Had the green classic you saw got a private plate? If so I may know who it is.
Only wave I've had in weeks was from a silver wagon on Monday.
If you see a WR Blue WRX give it a wave, it could be me

I was up there over the new year. Saw a few scoobs Blue 02 STi heading towards Brompton, no wave. Silver classic heading towards Brompton, no wave. Black, don't know the year, parked up looking nice and shiny.
I used to live outside Northallerton and thought everyone was freindly enough. But no waving that's a bit slack. Always wave and mostly feel a bit of a tw*t when they don't wave back.
If I see ya I'll wave 'onest. Mine 99 silver wagon.
Going to watch the Boro on Saturday so may see some of the Yorkshire scoobs if about.

I see quite a few Scoobies around the area too. Saw a DGM 02 WRX yesterday (Town Hall end of the High St), but didn't wave. Not many owners seem to. It was fun back in '94 when there were so few around, but as the numbers increased, I didn't really see the point.
Paul - you're not the guy I met at the Woodlands Rd Shell Stn in Darlington a few months back are you?

I'll keep my eye open - I generally fill up at the Shell in Northallerton. Mine's got Subaru on the sunshade and a scoobynet red face sticker in the drivers bottom corner. It's also got 15" alloys on for winter 
I must admit to being a bit slow when waving, generally leaving it to the last minute!!

No, it wouldn't have been mine. Not been there (B&Q) since we moved (slightly - very slightly) north 18 months ago.
