Imagine my surprise when I stood at the back of my P1 in the undergound car park off Moorgate cursing my blipper for not working when I realised that the registration had been changed by someone to an X plate... or maybe it was because my car P**JGH was actually about 10 slots away Looked a right pillock in front of Butty who was collecting my old 4 pots (Cheers Nick).
Imagine my further surprise when I was walking back towards Moorgate tube when I came across another X reg P1.

Why are they still being advertised for sale there's bloody hundreds of them around here

Question

Was it missing the rear P1/Prodrive badge?

If it was the one by Marks & Sparks, I couldn't see clearly because the poor car had so much Richard Burns Mud (Prodrive part SACC 54732/Aerosol)on it

Seriously though, bad luck Bryan.

I don't know who's nicking these badges, but I would keep an eye out for any novas with a Scooby bonnet scoop and a P1 badge.

Ah, wasn't me then. Not that my car doesn't ever get that dirty - but I don't park it up next to Marks and Spencer.

I've seen two other P1s parked down in the Vintry car park just by Southwark bridge too - so you're right - they do appear to be as common as muck...

I will indeed keep my eyes out for any Novas / Fiestas with P1 badges fitted to them...

Yup - such a common car

One (X reg) heading west on Lower Thames St (13.50)

Another (P reg) heading west Highway by Glamis Road (18.10)

Both got tooted & waved at by me on the bike
