Hi Ork,

Yep that'd be me, Silver MY00, 17", Sti V5 rear wing, just up at Tescos in my shopping trolley

Got new glasses yesterday

Not bad, my first post in this forum, and a success

Question

Don't normally bother posting in theses parts, but as you waved from about 250 yards away I figured you may well be a BBSer

That's a lovely car.

Mines an MY98, 18 inch radius 3's, front spoiler (one piece), 22b grille, Tarrox 40 grooved discs all round, green stuff pads, full de-catted scooby sport exhaust, blitz induction kit, baily dump valve and wrx rear spoiler.

There's a couple of scooby's around that area. I have saw 2 P1's, one of the drivers of one of the P1's never aknowledges, the other P1 I saw, seem to belong to a very freindly couple, who couldn't stop waving. Hello, if your on here.

Are you going to the Cameron House next Sunday?

Thanks Ork, you were obviously too far away to see the keyed panel

Your car looked pretty good I thought the wheels looked pretty big

I've seen the P1 that doesn't wave, but other than that I've hardly seen any Scoobies on that road.

Was going to be, but a mate is coming down to watch the Scottish rally (said I'd go months ago), so I'll be at that instead. Will be going to the Scoobynet RallyX BBQ thing the following weekend, you travelling for that?

Hi Robertio,

Scumbags.

Obviously some mothers have failed at bringing their children up to respect the finer things in life. Every dog get's their day.

Yes, the P1 who doesn't wave, is called Farquar of Farquarian. He has not yet mastered the skill of driving and waving at the same time.

There is a couple more cars to look out for.
There is a yellow MY00 wrx around the Dumbarton area. Seen it four times in the past month although I don't think they are BBSers, and a blue sti wrx which I see regularly on great western rd. He don't wave either.

Where are you leaving from to go to the BBQ, anyone else on here meeting up with you?

Ork, I normally see a couple of scoobs each day on Great Western road, normally different ones some wave, some don't. Definitely not seen the yellow one though.

No-one else from North of the border has expressed an interest (to the best of my knowledge) in going to the Scoobynet thing yet, was going to put a thing in the Scottish section after next weekend.
I was planning on leaving around 3am on the day, should get down for around 8am, a little while to kip / stretch legs before the 10am start.
If Rockingham wasn't so expensive I would have been going down on the Saturday, but...

I'll probably drive back up the road straight afterwords, depends how I feel, seen as it is Glasgow fair weekend I have Monday off if I'm too tired.

I'd have to disagree, on my clock it said 10:52, admittedly it did say 10:53 a minute later

Will try to remember to check the clock on the stereo tomorrow, just in case it has lost a minute

Question

Why do I get the feeling I'm about to get a thread moved to the Muppet forum?

Sal, my car car is the shopping trolley hence the reason I can sit in it, have room for my shopping, and still be able to move.

Hi Robertio

How's it goin. Any more bother with keyed panels? Two wee c*nts, tried to rip my spoiler off a couple of days ago and left it in a hell of a state. I got woke up at 2.30am on Thursday morning by my proximity sensor. Looked out my bedroom window to see the two of them geting in about my spoiler with a screwdriver! I imediatelly opened my window and started to unleash hell on them. They quickly got off their mark, and obviously by the time I put some gear on and ran outside they had vanished. I stuck the spoiler back on, and drove about for ages trying to find them, but no joy. Next time I wont be shouting out the window.

So now I have got a new 22B spoiler from Scooby Mania on it, and it looks much better, than the Power Engineering jobbie they tried to steal.

Anyway, anything happening soon?

Hi Ork

Sorry to hear about the spoiler there Ork one of those times it'd be nice to have a tranqualiser gun beside the bed

I've not had any problems since moving into my current house, thankfully, may even get the panel resprayed next spring if I don't have any problems by then.

Was up at Knockhill today for the rally thing that was on. Very good viewing, can highly recommend it the next time it is on

Glad to hear you sorted out a nice new spoiler

Planning on sorting out some driving lights soon, after that car is staying as is for a while.
