Do that bit of road quite often also on way to a young lady's house in N. London ...
Normally don't hang around on that particular section esp. on downhill stretch from M40 J4 roundabout ;( ...

I know, very inviting bit of road that - watch out for the boys in blue tho'. They sometimes sit on the twin bridges by the Marlow exit, and also tuck themselves away on the Burchetts Green roundabout... keep 'em peeled...

Scrappy2,
is the "twin bridges" that you refer to, the first exit on the downhill from the M40?
After driving down the motorway, the A404 is often the first place to put your foot down to get past the caravan/CLOG/Volvo drivers - maybe i'll ease off a bit in future.
mb
p.s. None of you were at John Lewis's last weekend were yah? See

Boomer, that's the one... All to easy to look down at the speedo to see your doing a ton... I've seen peeps on the bridge and then a car or bike waiting (hidden) on the hard shoulder of the slip road.... be careful...
