Question

Recently purchased a Blue T99 turbo and am wondering if any fellow Subaru owners in my area are online! Have seen some of you on the road and have waved and flashed?

Laters,

Paul

Paul,
On the subject of get togethers, it depends on how far your willing to travel.

Have you visited the southern section?

Theres a regular meet at the Woodman in Sevenoaks or this Sunday theres a big meet at Pease Pottage services on the M23, there should be some bods from your way coming We usually go to a pub for lunch via soom nice roads.

Come along everyones welcome includeing wives and kids.

Iain.

Hi Paul,

I'm in your area, silver MY00. I see a lot of other scoobs around Maidstone especially since Walldonway opened in town however not many seem to acknowledge a friendly wave.

I regularly travel through Larkfield so if I see you I'll give a wave.

I saw a sliver one in tescos Saturday afternoon, don't know if that was either of you. Had the number plate stuck on the hood?
I take it they have no get togethers around this way?

Guys, didn't realise that there were so many of you around. I live in West London but my parents live in Leybourne so I'm around quite a bit in that area. West Malling bypass - I love it !

Ahh yes the Malling bypass, I now found myself driving up and down it on the way home and it's not even in the right direction!

Just looked at the map on the web site and now understand I haven't got a clue where that is! Should be able to find it ok though.

By the way as I'm new to this, what does MY stand for? Is it model and year?

Paul, you're right, MY is Model Year. It helps cut out the confusion if you are discussing scoobs with someone who's non-UK.

Nigel,
I must try seven mile lane, had all but forgotten about it!
Keep your eyes out if you go through Snodland on the malling road, i just got 3points for doing 45 in the 30. The police have a little silver renualt van that they sit in the back of zapping you, its got ploice marking on it. Trouble is you just get the new in the post....gutted!

Laters,

Paul

Question

There are often speed traps in Snodland, as you go up from Maidstone into Snodland up the hill (Ham Hill) watch out along that road, they hide in the bus shelter on the left outside the school.

Nigel,
I think I may have seen you a while ago, do you blast up West Malling bypass late afternoons? LOUD exhaust??

I might have spoken to you in F1 at West Kingsdown ages ago, I was asking about catless systems??

Dude,
If it's not a renault Kangoo then it's that size of van! From the back it just has red and yellow stripes accross it, the rest of it is clearly marked, it has a seed camera graphic with some form of "kill ya speed" message on the side.
The guy or girl sits in the back and zaps you, the rest is history!

The Renault van thing was outside Holmesdale School again today, I went past it about mid-day...I was doing about 35 and following a load of traffic.

Its a sodding great silver thing with old bill stickers all over it, the back doors were open but no sign of any coppers anywhere.

Does anyone know if this gets you coming towards it or is it going away?

Its a Y reg, my "contact" knows nothing about it

I also saw a trap down by the Leisure Centre in Larkfield a couple a weeks ago..

Looks like they are having a clamp down guys

Then I guess they will also be covering Gighill as that has been a favourite in the past especially at 'going to work time'!

I use both New Hythe Lane and the Malling Road regularly, does one of you own the metallic green machine with gold wheels that I often see?
