What sti is yours and spec, how many gears does it have, and did you bother changing down. I stayed in 5th all the time. Nice car u have there mate, i just need my new fmic fitting and induction kit and 50bhp shot of nos. And a 400bhp scoob for anytime its not dry LOL. The reason i ask about the gears is i could have sworn u made a gearchange about the 120-130moh mark a i spotted a small puff of smoke, nothing serious or a prob just curious.

Its running at 311bhp, that was on a rolling road. Not sure on torque, got the dyno graph somewhere !!!

Seen quite a few scoobs on that road, but not many usually want to play !!!!

Hopefully see you around, I'm along there quite often.

Hope to meet up with you too rawsy, my Beeza is yellow you cant miss it LOL.

its always interesting to see how the scoobs perform , even more interesting is when you find out the bhp figures (311 bhp )
Peeps always write off the ibizas thinking they are a 2.0 16 v(150 bhp) car.
To their surprise.

The white classic WRX (black bonnet ) i tussled with was a bit tastier than Stock and was very even performance wise (upto 140 ) . didn't go any faster than this due to Traffic and roads allowing .

Shame he called me a W@nker after tho' and the little matter of cutting me up twice to try stopping me getting in front. But in front i did go .

Oh and i was 4 up too to his 2 up

**** happens, i guess. Both partys need to be sensible, and stop play if things get to silly.

Sounds like the one. Its one thing having a play, its another commiting manslaughter by ramming some innocent road user. I aint that desperate to prove a point.

There is the 'right time and place' for everything!!!!!!!!

If you guys want to know whose car is the fastest, why not come down to Elvington Airfield on one of the 'Run What U Brung days'. 1/4 mile and top speed runs.

That is the only way of safely telling 'whose the daddy'.

Just my thought of the day

No the car is owned by a bloke in Loftus area and he also owns a White (450bhp) Skyline.
How come i know all this ??????

Because he went to all the trouble of tracking me down and came knocking on my door just to find out what BHP the Ibiza had.
Must have caused a sleepless night there methinks.
He also said the WRX was tweeked to 290ish bhp but not too sure as he hadn't had it long.

Its white with a black bonnet, jap wrx. We think its around the 280bhp mark. What increase will u get from the ecu Simon, are there any P1's locally, and what do they go like. Cheers Gary

Soon to be Huge Evo stylee front mounted singles pass intercooler, increase of 4psi boost, cai induction kit, and a 50bhp shot of nos on a progressive controller.

P.S And more than likely a new clutch. LOL.

Simon,

Are you going to come on one of the Tyne Tees Scoobies Rolling Road days to see how your car performs with the GEMS fitted?

You would be most welcome

Martin, my cars at AS Performance on Friday for a new fuel pump and a few other bits and then the Gems gets done next Tuesday so I would be definetley be interested in a rolling road day, when the next one planned for?

RR - my cars had a new AP Organic clutch fitted which feels awesome compared to the standard. I'm having the Gems fitted more for running the car on UK fuel, to get rid of the Maf sensor and because I recently had a decat downpipe, centre section and firestorm backbox fitted but the anti-lag should be nice and a few extra horses.

I've only seen one P1 at Guisborough.

My clutch requires attention, are P1 anything amazing, anyone driven or raced one, are they any faster than the sti imports, i thought they basically were a 275bhp sti, tinkered with by prodrive. Or am i wrong?.

RR - this is a quote from the SIDC web site "280PS engine, with an estimated 260 lb/ft of torque", so yes they are basically a 2door sti with a few adjustments by prodrive.
