Question So who's just blown up their scoob on Marlow bypass....

racing a mark 2 golf Don't know much about the car apart from V reg blue classic with gold wheels (narrows it down a bit ehh )

ok ok, it was me - and that golf was supercharged!

Thought I'd done some serious engine damage but turned out ok in the end

Thats right Cliff, had it for a couple of months now. Not quite the P1 but still love the car to bit's.

Just a shame about the whole Marlow Bypass breaking down thing

Well my car broke down on the A127 while I was teasing a couple of guys in an XR2

So I guess yours is not quite as bad....

I didn't realise you had another Jay I waas still looking out for you in an RX7. What happened in the end?

p.s it was one of my mates golf Yes it's a G60 and he only bought it the day before Sounds awesome but I haven't been out in it yet.

Yeh, it's a lovely car Paul. He came back to check I was ok which was pretty sound of him!


Sold the Rx a couple of months ago now, got bored of it really so decided to get ANOTHER scoob

Who know's how long I have this one!

What was the damage to the scoob? Hopefully it wasn't the bottom end like normal

No i was very lucky, thought I'd done the engine as well cos of how it sounded when it let go but was only the air mass meter and oxygen sensor cost £200 from SGT to get sorted so I was V happy.

They said it would have gone eventually anyway.
