No one owning up? Raced a white S reg with carbon rear wing and other bits and a blue 'bugeye' model. Beat the bugeye, won one lost one against the white one and got beat by two other scoobys and a skyline. It was a good day ...... apart from the sunburn!

Stripped out with exhaust, i/k and chip, did'nt do too bad for a car with only 160 bhp. Was running high 14s and low 15s, even with the heat I'm surprised some Imprezas were running 14s/15s and even 16s!

Whats your torque then? Are you sure the scoobies weren't just happy to let you pass to give them a laugh
(only joking ok! Dont lets all start a flamefest - not so soon after Japfest anyway).
So what races were they? Straight mile, quarter etc???

Well I've got 7 inches on a good day. With a bit of tape measure manipulation that is. Some days I only manage 3 though. Less than that in a cold wetsuit.
In my dreams its more like Lexington Steeles', except a bit more pink.

Launching the scoob is one of the main keys to setting a good drag time. That and you mechanical sympathy to the clutch and drive train. A hot day can slaughter a scoobs performance. Heat soak through the enigine to the TMIC. You can feel the difference in the performance on a warm day.
If I was beside you I wouldn't be racing, just perfecting my launch technique, feds don't like you doing it on the road.![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Some you'll win, some you'll lose, something always big, better, faster and more powerful.

Was getting some cracking launches on monday
Best 60 foot time was 1.754
Best 1/4 mile was 13.37 @95 mph
Best top speed was 136.5 mph

yes I ran against you on my second run, which was my best of the day. Not that I looked quick next to you, your car was launched like a scooby should be. Some good times there sure you've only got 250 bhp?
