To be honest coming out of Redcar when i was 1st behind him i thought i was going to have him. 2nd gear i gained and 3rd right up behind him (maybe he was not trying) onto his bumper. But i was going to have to take the corner at speed and it has a nasty camber, and i bottled it and pulled back in behind him. Nice guy flashed (not the black mack type) i put the hazards on. Oh well 233bhp now with 255lbs ft. Jabba IHI or Garrett kit will take me to 340bhp 280lbs ft it should pull it back to 1-1 with the new turbo on if we meet again. Good play and if it was Bry then thanks for the fun.

I cant be sure m8. I think it could have been. Its hard to tell when your concentrating and its dark. End of the day how many black sti's had a play about an hour ago on the A174 with a blue Seat.

Post a link to this thread from the other night if its real. I cant remember it. But i will say this i've done scoobs before, but i am decent enough to hold my hands up when its the other way around. Whoever i had a little play with the other night knew i was there, they saw me. And truth be known i maybe lost out up the hill , but they struggled. It cant of been Bryan by the looks of it as whoever had a play with me initially was beaten as i was to fast and had to back off as i came from 2-3 car lengths behind almost onto there rear qtr on the first sprint off the first r-about. There maybe not a member. But anyway there is some good news i have been told my car is gonna be called in for its 340bhp conversion before Christmas (now 233bhp) so we will see how the local scoobs fair then.

Roll on 0-150 in 25 seconds.

Have i got it wrong Bry, my mistake. Whats the twist on PPP. What can you do to avoid warranty issues and not get caught by the Subaru dealer or the Mot test station?. Intersting stuff i enjoy the technical side of it. As good ideas are good ideas for all.

My dealer would turn a blind eye but im leaving it alone for the moment with just the PPP with the updated map.

Updated map may/could/would seem be be more power orientated higher up the rev range and loose a little at the bottom end in comparrison to previous maps. I could be wrong i dont work for prodrive. Just a guess. Anyway if it was u Bry u gave me the motivation to get the K03s (Golf1.8t/Leon cupra turbo) turbo off asap and get the IHIvf34 on asap. Just what i needed really some motivation oh and another 117bhp. Cheers Bry.
