yup i think you and a few thousand others saw that one.
we spotted it as we came in on the back roads and we guessed that someone
a) was all fired up from doing a blinding time on the strip and then decided to emulate it on a country road or
b)had a few too many, went for a little drive and lost it on the bend.

if it was a or b I guess they might wonder where their car was when they woke up this morning !!!

it had been recovered by the time we left the pod this evening, just big tyre marks and ruts left..sad though

They were just unpacking the boot when we went past at 9.15Am, It looked like it hadn't happened long before we got drove by. everyone seemed okay, just looked like damaged pride and another classic off to the scappy

It must of been there first time at the pod, as you always remember that corner!!!! Seen quite a few cars in that field over the years

I beg to differ people. We saw it to about 10:15 am with the Police talking to the driver, and low and behold it arrived at the pod about 15 mins after us. Classics are made strong!!

It was in that field around 7.30am this morning when we were on our way to the pod.

Don't think it was going anywhere in a hurry. Pics not great though.

I was bored, so I brightened the pic up and zoomed right in. Passenger side wheel seems to have gone bye bye...

It was a friend of a friend of mine who apparently completely misjudged the corner. Needless to say it was on a trailer back up the M1 yesterday as it wouldn't make the journey under it's own steam.

Apparently the owner is now deciding whether to break it and sell the parts or buy another one with a knackered engine.

not sure who told you that mate but that wasn't exactly what happened

its true i hadn't got the line right into the corner but a woman in a 4x4 was coming the other way and was in the middle of the road which made me have to make a correction at the apex

i'd have got away with misjudging the corner if the 4x4 hadn't forced me to make a correction

Hmm, so within the space of a week you have crashed a scooby in to a camper van, put an RX7 in to 4 parked cars, and driven another scooby in to a field?

Either you're an apalling driver or you're telling porkies
