I've got a turbo wagon and one or two grey hairs but I try to wave to every scooby I see and usually flash lights as well to wake them up first!!
But I have to say there are quite a lot around Derby that completely ignore you! They just don't realise what they're missing

dont always instigate flashing (some people take it the wrong way especially those who you are following) but i always respond or wave from my silver my 99 wagon to be seen in and around derby and mickleover.

Tony,
On a map head south from Derby till you reach the A50. Just by what my AR 2002 tags as Junction 3, you'll see Swarkestone. The bridge is the bit next to the puddle beneath the village where is crosses the flood plains.
Chris.

I do wave, and no grey hair either...
I do occassionally flash but have had the shock of my life when I flashed a passing Scooby and someone through I was letting them out of the junction on the left... lucky my brakes work.
I guess we must all travel the same roads just at different times.

Yes i do flat 4 are they not a pain in the ----
i always avoid them by going up a38 and back around stoke by pass and go around mickleover court hotel (nice quick blast anyway and i always pick up some **** trying to race me around the first bend off the a38 will they never learn).this is my preferred route most days as i live not too far from the top end of station road.
think i have seen a blue bug eye turning near those lights a couple of times is it you??????
maybe its time for an new count of derby members or a meet at the curry pub anyone.
ps
<engage self satisfied smug mode>
chris B dont confuse the lad it is actually a causeway although everyone locally calls it a bridge
<disengage smug mode>
Doh and doh again just spotted youre first post flat four as you have a legacy you must be invisible

i catch the lights on red everytime, they must have a sensor at the end of my road which turns them to red
that causeway has caused me alot of trouble, crashed my motorbike on it coming over the river trent bridge once, and the tw*t stopped in the middle of the road said it was my fault
anyway nuff ranting, count me in for the pub along as its not a thursday
