Default WR blue blob A329(M) towards Bracknell last night

Think it was a WRX with the wheels and spoiler off the blobeye but not sure.
We had a quick blast down the A329 before I turned off into Jennett's Park.

Was it about 7.30pm? If so, that was probably me. I was on my way to work, trying to take it slowly but couldn't resist a blast with you.

Yours was a bit quicker than mine but I had a remap over the weekend so I look forward to seeing you again :-)

Yes mate that's when it was.
I was actually in 5th for most of it - did change down to 4th in that last bit just to give it some beans - it'll be better after the remap trust me

I'm due for another myself once I get my exhaust bits fitted

I think I need to get some new brakes as well now. Went for a bit of a blast yesterday and when I got out the car, the front brakes were smoking and smelt terrible! Not good!

Assuming yours is a WRX and you don't want to shell out a big amount on a Brembo / K-Sport type upgrade, you could do worse than fit the pads I've got on mine - EBC Yellow Stuff - they don't seem to suffer as badly from fade as the OEM items, and I've found them better than Ferodo DS2500's too.
I've got those, a brake stopper from CDF racing (stops a lot of the vibration from the brake cylinder under heavy breaking - really seems to work too), a set of the Godspeed grooved front discs, and some Goodridge braided brake lines - much much better than OEM in my opinion.

The yellow stuff pads I bought from EBCDirect.com for £100 delivered.
And you can fit them yourself - very very easy - it's a 30 minute job - be happy to help out - better than paying Bulldog or someone similar £180 to supply and fit new pads!
BTW though - the brakes will always smell bad if you're using them a lot and hard!

I'll go for the Yellow stuff pads then. Cheers for that. £107 in total I think.

I wouldn't have a clue how to change them myself. A mate at work might be able to do them for me, but if not, then your help would be much appreciated. I'll be in touch if I need a hand. Cheers
