It was one of my comanies trucks.
According to the driver, the guy in the wrx tried to under take the lorry on the slip road, not realising it was carrying a 15 foot wide load.
He then hit the overhanging load knocking it off the vehicle!!
This was despite about four flashing beacons and plenty of warning triangles attached to the trailer.
Luckily no one was hurt
and hopefully the wrx will be repairable.

Just got some more info from the truck driver
Apparently the car hit the load and broke the straps holding it on
the load then fell off and trapped the WRX between the truck and the barrier.
Must a bin a bit scary for the driver of the car.
Possibly a new pair of trousers in the insurance claim.
