I was there today, he crashed backwards into metal barriers just after "quarry" started off a wet cold day with plenty of track tank slapping action with a few cars going off with the wet slippy track. Loads of scoobys there

That was a lad from BBS, didnt look to skillfull going in flat out every lap so it was obviously going to end in an accident, Was a lad from Bristol but as above best to leave photos off as it may affect his insurance etc!

Wasnt me but a good friend of mine, I wouldnt say he was stupid surely thats the risk with any track day wet or dry? Over the years I have seen many cars go off at Quarry he's not the first and certainly wont be the last, But he is seriously pissed off!!

I'm not surprised but like u say part of the risk Saturday was quiet and experience never expected it to be as slippery as it was! Quarry is a bar steward at the best of times! But what's the point of having all the power and not putting ur self to the test everyone can drive fast in the dry but in the wet is a different ball game! Feel for the bloke tho as no one likes to see someone smash a car up

I spun on saturday and ended up on the grass in my first morning session, twas the first time I have ever spun my scooby, was coming out of the chicane after quarry that part of the track was so slippy! Thank god it dried out after that.
Feel for the chap who smashed his car though, we all know the risks by going out on track but still not nice if you end up in the wall.

I saw that, feel sorry for the guy, it was very slippery, much more slippery than I thought it would be. More grip on the roads on the way there.
I also had my 1st spin on the damp track, mine was under braking, didn't hit anything thank god but it was very easily done.
