We always talk to each other mate. It's the social thing to do....

Besides, it takes longer to order our food using sign language....

 

and depending upon the staff, the Queen's English can take a bit of time to sink in, never mind sign language...

I was all for coming. Chris was gonna pick me up, but due to some wiring of lights, he could not make it - hence I could not make it!!!

I am supposed to be taking delivery of my car this afternoon, fresh from having its new front nose cone fitted and sprayed. Here are some pics, as it was before it went in.

Hi Chris. I'm probably one of the two you mentioned becuase I get paid loads by the club to mingle and do my welcoming duties..

I'm not sure about the first visit, but the last visit had, as I'm sure you noticed, many new faces from Hull and other areas...
This was a bit of a one off so unfortunately you may have got lost a bit in the crowd and come off second best to that Spec C!!

Even if you'd been blonde, naked and holding a plate full of Beef & Onion Sandwiches with a cold Stella on the side, you still may have come off second best... ...

OK..... I'm lying, but you get my drift!
We do pride ourselves on being a very friendly, non-clique group, so you may find you'll have some attention next time.. then again maybe not if your going to the NBO.. as you'll have to compete with 500 Scoobs!!

Let's be realistic about this...

You came on here and asked for advice, which you were given in good faith from certain members. None of these, I'm sure, had any malicious intent whatsoever. HOWEVER, things do go wrong, people make mistakes, we're all human! If you have an issue with whatever work you have had done then surely it's between you and the company involved, and NOT this forum.

You have a gripe, fair enough, but take it to them. It's doing no-one any good to come on here acting like a pillock, is it?

Notice, I have not mentioned any company names, I'd appreciate it if you did the same.

If you want a genuine, mature debate about the pros and cons of recommending certain individuals / businesses on the net then start a new thread, with a sensible argument, and I'm sure people will join in.

Posting drivel is not the way to go about dealing with this.

I hope that you take in what I've just said, and alter you're attitude accordingly.

Post sensible stuff, join in, and become a valued member rather than a troll. SN already has enough of those
