Sorry peeps, but Paul and I wont be coming to the NBO tomorrow. We were all ready to mint the cars up today, but it appears that Laxey(the dog) is going to be having her pups in the next 24 hours. She has gone off her food(which she never does being a labrador!) and wont come out of her box.

This time tomorrow we could be grandparents!!

Any joy with what we talked about Kel? ie the repairs to your car?

 

5 pups so far!!!!! It's like a maternity ward here.

 

The Scoob is currently with Jasemac of Scoobybits - seems like a great bloke who acts more like a fellow enthusiast, rather than some garage trying to squeeze cash out of you. He's trying to see if it can be repaired first and if not he's doing me a replacement engine at a superb price (fitted too). Either way it should be back on the road in a few days

I tried calling "The Oracle" but didn't get an answer, that's when i spoke to Scoobybits and found they could fit me in and do what work was needed all at the right price, so it's down there. Cheers for putting me in touch with "TO" anyway tho', Paul, much appreciated and if it hadn't been for Scoobybits i'd have gone with him.

Final tally(we think) is 9. She snuck another out at 3.30am, luckily Paul heard the commotion and got up to supervise(and clean up!). She is being totally frustrating at the moment though as she cant get her head round whats happened. Poor little buggers are scrapping over the 3 teats she makes available. She refuses point blank to lie on her side and let them all have a drink. Oh well, looks like I'll have to supplement them every 2 hours. Hopefully she'll come round soon

 

congrats on the pups, The wife says to persevere with putting the pups on the teats and holding her on her side if you start to bottle feed now she wont produce enough milk for them all as it works on supply and demand. Stick with it and she'll soon get the hang of it.
