Sticky gets an insurance quote....
Okay, stand back.
Ella's in-sewer-ants is due shortly, so popped along to one or two web sites and got a few quotes. Average cost was ITRO £1070 (Not TOO bad, we were thinking)
So, just for the laugh, I add me as a named driver, complete with recent history (of which most of you are aware) and it comes up with?????
Answers on a postcard, or below!

I'm kindly allowing the wife to become the new owner of a spanking, low mileage Evo8 FQ300, which I will allow her to insure, with me as a named driver or course.
How kind am I?
I'll even let her keep the Sanitary-Towel-injection if she wants, too.
My generosity knows no bounds

I'm so generous that I'd allow you to park your Evo in my garage.
And the only fee for this valuable service would be for me to use it on a daily basis.
What's more, I wouldn't even re-charge you for my private mileage fuel.

Yup - I took the plunge to report the fitting of PPP and they came back and said no increase in premium but a tad for renewal time
On the same day I've had a letter claiming compensation for cleaning up the debris for my little off earlier in the year Bet that took a whole five seconds to drag the twig to the side of the hard shoulder - it's been there for months when I've been past since

Andy, if it's not too rude of me, how much are they after? Is it a council thing, highways, police?
Just curious, nothing more.

Haven't a clue on costs at the mo - it's just an insurance details request at present. Someone acting on behalf of someone etc with info obviously from the police that I think ends up with the Highways Agency AFAIR
Going to contact my insurance company and then fire the letter at them and see what happens...
The way the letter reads almost smacks of the standard "claim for everything from anybody we can rope in" type of letter, i.e. on the make. I can't deny I wasn't there etc but it seems a bit OTT IMO
