I'll stick my apologies in early unless you want to have a run out to the Black Watch Inn in Aberfeldy - some proper roads up there along the A826 etc but you'd have to set off a bit earlier then 7pm from the Holmfield... (even at Dave-speeds )

I will post mine and Pauls apologies now. Both of us are working that evening, so you will have to make a decision regarding 'home' without us. I dont know whether Ian and Helen are going but if they are I will pass on a copy of the menu for the Mill House for you all to peruse. Sorry Chaps(and ladies)

Steff - does this mean we can pretend you both voted by proxy to stay at the TP?

Your votes will be scrutinised, collated and counted Steff. We're very democratic here, ya know.

AFAIK, BTW & IMHO, I believe the plan is to go to the TP and drive out to Milford Hall and the Darrington? The Mill house could also be taken in, but its in the other direction....

I'm sure plans will change slightly on the night..

What are the plans for tomorrow. Are we off to have a nosey at the potential new gaffs (and accompanying roads ) or are we staying at the TP. If we are tootling off will that be at 7:30 ish or after we've had an initial chinwag? Questions, questions!

Looks like I'll have to shift into some form of military command mode to make an executive decision..
  • Arrive at the TP for the normal meet time.
  • Depart for Milford Hall at 8pm with whoever wishes to have a run.
  • Choice of roads optional, but they must be bendy, straight (long & short), bendy again with a few dips, rises and all with a variety of cambers.. Have a swift shandy and looksee.
  • Depart for The Darrington @8:45 ish (Repeat above)..
  • Arrive back at the TP 9:30 ish to de-brief each other and waiting members...
Hour and a half should suffice as they're not too far apart....

Dave or AN Other who knows the road will be Sqn Ldr

Mark - if you have those 2 way radios, can you bring them along to try out?

I'll happily take the straight road option, as my car is no longer blue....

Hmm, since I'm in the Thrapper as a daily driver and I don't really want any "grounding out" problems again on narrow country roads (combined with the forecasted crap weather (Mostly cloudy with a showers) I'll give it a miss...

Martin (black stickered up Scoob) can't make it either

We should both be OK for the run to Hull though.

Can't do anything about the weather mind!

Come down if the weathers not too bad and you can take a spin out shotgun with one of the group?

Roads to Milford are nice straight mains, roads around it if you choose to play can be twisty and bumpy.

Unless you want me to navigate

Being a Cas lad, and having spent most of my formative driving years looking for the quietest, twistiest, ****ry lanes round the area

You? Navigate? It'll be through bl**dy fields, over stiles and wading across rivers....
