Question 5 Litres of Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 - Cheap

Hi, just bought some of this oil as it's specified for the Noble & fully synthetic, but had to buy a bit too much to get a deal. Anyone want 1 can of 5 litres for £27.50? I believe it's quite a bit more than that normally!

I'll have it assuming it's the 5W-40 stuff...

PS it's only 4 litres to a can isn't it?

Hi M8, definitely 5w-40 & it better be 5 litres as that's what I paid for! I'll be in touch with you via PM, e-mail or phone when it arrives (prob Thursday).

Re-read the thread title - D'Oh for the viscosity spec

I'll wait to hear from you as it'll do either for the next oil change / service or as top-up depending on how much the new girls sups...

Cheers Apple, I owe you the £2.50 change M8, don't let me forget!
Just discovered I have almost 3 litres (In a 4.5L can) of Castrol Magnatec 5w30 which is the specified oil for the WRX & STi and will therefore be what you have if standard oil changes have been carried out at dealers. Not compatible with VRS/M12/1.4LX(!) so will probably car boot sale it unless anyone from WYIOC wants it cheap!

another F**d then!

The Castrol is what Monty's dumped when they put the Helix in so not much use to me now - I might even have some kicking around as well if you want to make it more of a going concern

After I left WLT I seem to have collected a shed-load of change and am now almost trying to change it back into notes to save weight...

Yep, a *uc*

Similar tale here, went to Tesco, changed a tenner & got all iron change, but by then you were long gone so clanked around for a bit.
Any piccies from Sunday (Esp my former & new parked in line?)?

Cheers

Dunno about the squre of 64 but the square root is 8 and 64 squared is a big number...

It's big enough when you can only count to 21 on you fingers and toes etc...

Question Thread ressurection!

Now the 'kin Noble's gone , I rediscovered my other 5 litre container of this, used once to top up (about 1/4 litre) so 4.75 litres left.
I'm not going to use it as I'll top the scoob up with the same Magnatec sludge the dealers use.
Demon tweeks sell this Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 @ £30.98 plus postage for the smaller 4 litre can.
Anyone want it for £20 before I ebay it?
