Spec C Carbon Wing
Big thanks to Dave for a few hours of his time.. I'm sure he'll be posting his new STI Wing soon..
It's as good as I'd hoped. I think it really tidies the lines up and removes, what I felt, was a visual inbalance against the front lip, wheels and back..
It also looks rather tasty..

Thanks guys.. I know there's some who thinks it's a little too chav.. but hey ho..
CW - It does shave a good few kilos over the STI, so I'm sure there's some Power to weight increase, however slight. The bloody boot flies up now and bangs off the stops as the damn thing was lighter than the bubble wrap!
But then again, it isn't as light as yours!!!
BTW - How do you ease back the boot spring?

Mines actually broke now, and needs the key to unlock it, which is fine, as it means I'm holding on to it as it opens

Ere, what have I done wrong all of a sudden?
Steve, was your STi lowered or on standard springs? Just wondering after the slight splitter scrape out of WLT then it might be a bit of a waste of time getting one in the future with our drive / garage...

Springs were Prodrives finest, originally fitted by a muppet in a tin shack in Huddersfax. Subsequently adjusted by a monkey at the up & coming chav central ind. est. in Bluddesford then finally done correctly darn sarf. IIRC, the drop is 2.5cm which is 1 inch in proper currency.

wasn't slipping - just being restrained and not rising to the obvious for once
Ta for the spring info - with the suspension now being Spec C equivalent, I don't think I'll bother / need the Prodrives with the local roads (Somme) and although they were good on the WRX, I felt the big difference was the ARB combined with the springs and droplinks - it's further than I want to go with this one for quite a while (cost and insurance) /famous last words mode/

That's all well and good. Except, I was sitting on a Spanish barstool at the time.... Figuratively speaking....
