Very nice machine..... Gallons of carbon fibre, full XTR and flappy paddle dual control shifters (which are a tw*t to use - but I'm sure he'll get used to them... unless he falls off first).
Doubtless I'll be getting the full Rochdale return debrief...

I am NOW
Just got in from the Rochdaleothon.
Somewhere ITRO 60 miles breaking the ****** in. Other than a sore **** (Careful Apple, HB knows what I mean, Err...... what I'm trying to say is that the worst part of adapting to a new ride is the seat, I think ) everything has gone too smooth for words. Not missed a beat in the gear changes, remote lockout for the sussy works a treat (flick a lever and it turns in to a rigid bike for climbing / sprinting)
The only downside was the fact that we went past 12 pubs, and stopped for a pint at each one *hic*

It allows the punter to choose their own stuff, ie flatties or SPDs like Crank Bros egg beaters and so on ('cept those are for MTBs, but you get the pic).

[rubbing hands in an Arkwright way mode on]That's £3500 for the bike then sir, oh you want some pedals as well, well now you wouldn't want anything less than the best for that bike I'm sure, how about these for £200, can we throw them in with the bike if you pay cash sir, oh no no no we couldn't possibly do that I'm afraid, we've got bills to pay you know, wages, rent, heating, electric, it all adds up you know, I'm sure you wouldn't want to work for free now would you, yes yes visa is fine sir[rubbing hands in an Arkwright way mode off]
