Current or future Club cars needed for the Rising Sun Sunday Jap car day at Nostell on the 14th Clicky. Similar to the NBO but different, this will be the second formal club outing this year with the Gayzeebo, BBQ & Beer.

We have a stand booked and simply need club cars to show up polished and sparkly to be displayed.

What time does this thing start and can you just turn up any time? cos I'm working Saturday night but wouldn't mind going if I can.

I'll probably be needing someone to take Ella's car through on the day, as she's gonna be showing one or more of the Hellhounds .

Not much to add really. The chap i spoke to said a couple of us would be best getting there early(for early read 0730) to be sure of bagging a good plot for our stand and members. Depends on how many of our cars are going obviously but there are a few other groups going who will also be having their own sections, and they will want a good spot. There are competitions on the day as well, that some of our cars could enter, if anyone so wished. It sounds like a well planned event anyway so its up to us. Prime spot at 0730 or at the back at 0930.

OK. To confirm. We will meet at the Redbeck Cafe / Motel on the Doncaster Rd, Crofton, Wakefield WF4 1RR to LEAVE at 0830. Nostell is only 5 mins away..

This should give us an OK spot, unless someone wants to step forward for the 07:30 shift to get a better spot?

The day will be a simple stand with all club cars on. We'll have the gayzebo, some Beer and a BBQ and will just be a chilled relaxed day taking in all the Jap cars on show... We're not going to there to show them in a competition, but just advertise the club, but if anyone wants to enter, let me know and we'll get you prime spot on the stand....

 

Remember, I won't be there 'til mid afternoon
