Hi guys,

Picked up a nasty stone thrown from the back of some 18 wheeler. Sods law its hit the bonnet but somehow managed to bounce a couple of times to leave three small marks. The first ones slightly dented where the initial impact has taken place although its not too bad and the mrs says its just me being really picky.

Would ideally like to get it sorted now that I have a few free weekends available after all the OT at work and can actually get to drive the thing but hear so many horror stories about poor workmanship. Dont want a respray just yet so I was looking to try the chips away company. Just wondered if anyone could recommend someone in the Bradford/ Keighley area or a body shop that could take on such a small task.

where abouts you from Rob? you dont have to be specific.

the guy who sprayed my car does all types of repairs and his workmanship is second to none, see almost finished thread.

the guy who did my work is based in Castleford area

 

I know of a molbile bloke from Outwood / Wakefield way who's done stuff at our place and people seem happy with him

 

There's no denying Mick your car certainly looks stunning and I assume its better in the flesh. Would they do just a chip without having to respray the bonnet?

True mate - Mick's car does look stunning, but I've a sneaky suspicion they only have yellow paint in stock....

I am pretty certain they would just do what needed to be done,

If it is just a little chip maybe would be better with a home call chips away company.
