Rising Sun Sunday - Cheers!
Good to see you all today!!
After a quiet start with only a few early risers for a full English or Tea & Toast brekky at the Redbeck we soon had the the Gayzebo up (straightish ) and pegged down as the morning started a little blustery and threatening rain..
The initial planned parking formation looked like we'd made a random half arsed attempt, but we left that for later as a few of us got on with polishing...
After a quick beer we re-assembled the 6 cars into a decent looking spread..
As the day wore on a few members left but were soon replaced by late stand-ins. After the NBO BBQ Fiasco that saw twigs, cardboard, grass and leaves employed to get the Barbi going, this one was started in seconds by the proper use of coal and lighting fluid..
Big thanks to the clubs newest members and 'Head Chef' (Paul & Deb) for supplying a large amount of food and beer.. this was soon cooked to perfection by the Head Chef side of that partnership, Deb (ably assisted by moi ) with Sticky's food also lasting throughout the day...
Good luck with the rebuild guys.. hope it goes better than Kel's
The day ended with three new members and plenty of interest which was what the day was about..
It also ended with 9 cars on the stand (after loosing a couple early on) and the sun shining.. It also had the bonus of some scantily clad young things washing a blue scoob in the main ring.. Andy's super super large extra close up macro shot atomic zoom lens seemed to get some use at this time.. I'm the sure the results will be up soon
All in all a very enjoyable day..
See you all on the 18th for the mid monther...
Debbie - BTW: That site isn't quite what you think it is..

The brillant photo work does give you a very good view, and she really has got the your lens size right too.
You would of thought they would of given her a new sponge they were only 60p each or two for a pound.
And those denim shorts are really practical with the back pockets left on

Great pics!!
Nice meeting a few new faces and a top day!
I happened to bump into the organiser in a pub that night and he was pretty cut up about the theft of the STI covers. He reckoned they saw a new age WRX speeding away shortly after the incident

The party was in full swing on the Primera owner's club stand...
For Sticky & Phil
Eventually the catering facilities were exhausted
And Al could go back to his impression of being in charge with, "Well, it came out of his bag this morning!"
...as the rest of the WYIOC contingent looked on bemused...
