If by 'guys' you mean me and Dazza, well...
It's Tia's birthday so Frodo will be busy taking her (and my two) bowling. This would mean me having to cycle through to the Holmfield, which I don't mind at all, but (opens book of excuses at page 53...)
Ah, yes...
Ahem...
Owing to excessive use of the brakes during last nights (Yes, LAST NIGHT. VERY VERY WET AND RAINY AND GRITTY AND ETC.) anyway... Spent a couple of hours blasting around Wharncliffe woods last night, and as a result my brakes are now totally foooooooked, as in 'there's NO meat left on the pads'. So, I need to get myself some new pads from Evan's, and then fit 'em. (I'm going for EBC Redstuff, I kid you not )
Now, it could be that I get the pads fitted in time to pop over for this meeting (Can a conversation between two people be called a meeting?) BUT... it would be preferable, from my point of view at least, if you could come over here. We can then walk round to the local (Don't panic, it's only 20 yards) and have a detailed discussion of how we're gonna abuse Dazza's mudmobile
What do you reckon?

Appears that White Scooby can't make it..
So, shall we reconvene when we all can make it.. Though coming for a beer does appeal it would be better to discuss timings etc when were all there..

You could save yourself loads of cash, and have the full service including the pad replacement at www.scoobyclinic.com They supply and fit Ferodo DS2000's for £90+vat for WRX, and their labour charges are £20/hr, 1/4 of the dealer rates I used to have EBC Reds in my 03WRXPPP, and they only lasted 6k and 6 months The OE's which were in and half worn when I bought the car lasted 8k and a trackday before needing replacing. I'm pleased with the DS2000's, which have better initial bite from cold than the EBC, and similar stopping performance under pressure. Only downside is they do squeal a little when braking lightly at very low speeds (in traffic). The 'Clinic don't advise DS2500's for normal road use as they can be poor when not up to temperature (for instance, first thing on a morning at the end of the street, or after many motorway miles without touching brakes and to suddenly need them ). I also have stainless braided hoses and DOT5.1 fluid, which cured the brake fade I was getting on spirited runs and on track.
so the idea is get some Ferodo pads, as the others will go just as fast as the ones ur taking off...
