OK.. This is a limited offer and I'm testing the waters..

My Invite says only two people per invite to the opening of the new Wakefield Merc centre.. So I'm going to try and negotiate some places for the club..

This is on the night of the Main meet, so the plan will be to meet at the Holmfield at 7:15 and get to the showroom for 7:30. There we will ogle the SLR, Maybach and AMG Stuff... then set off for the FG to arrive at 8:30(ish).

BTW.. if the SLR isn't enough, there's also a F1 simulator, Scalextric racing, Champagne, Canapes and Magicians...

I can't promise anything.. But to give me some idea of the numbers I need to 'negotiate' please let me know...

Al, I was planning on leaving my conjoined (non-identical) twin with someone at the Holmefield in the hope they'd either keep her, lose her, or take her to the FG where I could collect her later, but as it looks like the whole WYIOC is attending this event I can only think of 2 alternative solutions. Either she comes too, or Katrina babysits her 'til we've all cleaned the mess off the SLR.

 

New place is great mate, much quieter than the last one and no little ******* sitting on the wall outside to deal with either (of course this is largely due to the fact there isn't wall )

Anyway, now that you are back in the land of the living I'm sure we can sort something out regarding a house warming, I'm sure you'll be very generous with the house warming present that you bring being as you are going on Saturday we can discuss it further then, the present that is of course

Bring CG with you... As it looked like the numbers were going to be healthy, I used my Military training and engaged upon a pre-emptive strike. I cammed up and recced the enemies strategy and completed a surprise right flank pincer movement with special forces...and they conceded... Victory was ours!!!!

In other words, I rang them and they said it's OK to bring a few more... It'll be interesting to see their faces when 10+ scoobs, 2 Evo's and a scenic turn up in the car park and we muscle in to eat all the snacks, drink their champers, get the Highest score on the F1 simulator... blow up the Scalextric, work out all the magician tricks (and tell everyone) and leave loads of hand smears and drool over the Mclaren and AMG engines...

Of course we'll be the best behaved most pleasent guys there and we'll have them doing AMG conversions on our Boxers in no time..

 

2 Evos, Chishy & Phil both have impeccable taste
