Hello all, quite new to Scoobyet and found my way in here (after some guidance of course)...

Picking up my Y bug eyed WRX tomorrow and really looking forward to it... I am based Nr York so will hopefully be able to get out on one of the meets soon. I also noticed the potential track day at Blyton... roughly how much is it to attend?

You're more than welcome to join us in future, but the next official meet won't be until Jan 28th as the December one is normally put off due to some other stuff happening Might twist a few arms though, who's up for the usual on the 29th

The trackday is a twice a year job at the www.rally-drive.com at Blyton near Scnuthorpe. Usually 30 or so cars with unlimited track access for the whole day, a BBQ and loads of fun for IRO £30 The official thread will be going up soon.

I may well be up for the track day then, sounds good and I know Blyton very well having been there a few times.... I just need to negotiate with the other half as its her 30th the day before!!!

 

Dave - I'm not sure what 'the usual' entails on the 29th, but I was actually thinking of posting to see if anyone wanted a run out on that day given a) I won't be at work and I assume others won't be b) they'll be daylight to drive in for a change c) roads will be pretty quiet d) I can test out the new video camera

Let me know what 'the usual' is and we can hopefully hook up. Haven't been on a decent run for a while.
