Gas fire must be CORGI registered now, and provide a conformity certificate once done Same guy will probably do your shower. I can phone mi bro' in the morning as he knows quite a few plumber types. As for the cabinets, do 'em yersen yer lazy tw@t
Only joking. Mother-out-law just had a kitchen fitted and they did a good job for reasonable money. I can call her tomorrow if you like. Also we had a guy do ours about 5 years back, but I don't think he does it now. I can try him, as he was very good, but slow and methodical. Frustrated me to watch him as I go at everything like a bull at a gate.

A mate of mine owns a couple of fireplace shops (and a GT2, but that's another story)
I'll gladly get you a quote for the fire and shower, just let me know.

Dave, all help greatly appreciated, make those calls pls
Sticky, as long as he won't be treating the job as an opportunity to pay for the vast quantities of petrol he must get though entertaining you in his GT2 a quote would be great
Oh and just to add, the work needs to be absolutely spot on or I'll never hear the end of it, not that I'm saying my missus is fussy you understand

My best mate is a joiner, so kitchen is no problem at all, and a good friend of his is a plumber who did my fire, services my boiler and moved my mates bathroom to another room in the house.
pm me your number if you want me to pass it on,
cheers
Phil

Barry, Phil's mate sounds a good bet. The guys I'd be recommending aren't mates so there'd be no favours or preference. Let me know if you still want me to chase them up.
