Matt... Welcome
Your timing is pretty good as we have our monthly meet coming up on the 26th over Huddersfield way..
AFAIK, there's a couple of guys from Cas or near that way.... Mick! Mick! Your there?
If you can meet up with anyone coming from that way then tag along to the Holmfield Arms to follow another group over to the Fox Glove.. Alternatively, come straight to the Holmfield and follow us in over Emley Moor....
Looking forward to seeing you and your pride and joy..

Until a few months back we used to meet in Cas'. As above, you're welcome to join us at The Foxglove, Hudds, or even better join in the run over Emley to get there

Hi Matt
and welcome
As mentioned I do live in Cas, and guess i rattle pretty much every thing I drive past, dont think you could really miss the car, the color is subtle
Thanks for the build Al, guess we have to meet for me to exchange some cash for your kind truthful words, maybe this time not get filmed by crimestoppers lol...
My traffic patrol duties are only there when the need arises, like for a massive sting op of course with my trusted colleuges.
Matt your more than welcome to join us at any time, I dont make many of the holmfield meets as my finish time does not fit in around them .
<ahhh can remember the TP>
Get some pics up mate, and dont forget wave like a crazy guy if you see me around
Mick
and welcome

Hi mate, and welcome.
I'd like to reccomend the WYIOC as being a great club, full of great blokes (and great bints ), great cars, with great meetings at great pubs.
They (we?) are the best bunch of Scooby owners you could wish to meet.
HOWEVER!
It would seem that SOME of them have problems letting sleeping dogs do what they should.
Just when you think you're getting over something, when the last painful shreds of the terrible memory seems to have slipped from the most remote corners of your mind, at a time in your life when you really need everyone's support, some git goes and lays the boot in by bringing it all back to you in vivid flashing blue, yellow and reflective white technicolour!
Anyway, I'm in Cas' too, just round the corner from Mick, so that means that the two best looking guys in the club are just a stone's throw away.
...why the hell Al would mention the looks is something that will become clear when you meet him for the first time. I reccomend wearing latex inspection gloves before shaking his hand and, just to be on the safe side, don't mention his spoiler.
...or the lack of a decent burble from his exhaust
...or the anthracite alloys
...and finally, and most importantly, no matter how much he screams, no matter how much he cries, never, EVER, feed him the idea of winding up another club member just before midnight.
Boll*cks, all this means that if this poor unfortunate chap turns up at this months meet he's gonna get the full low-down on IT!. I think I'll turn up late. Someone give me a call when it's all over
Welcome
Sticky (Mindless waffle due to wind-up induced stress)
It's like those Vietnam flashbacks you used to see in Magnum, only without the moustache... or the Ferrari... or the Dobermanns (could be supplied at short notice. 9 pups available in about 8 weeks, contact Ella)
Think that's all for now. Need McCoffee.
Bye

I think this calls for a special Castleford version of the initiation ceremony.
Here's the shopping list...
3 x 1:10 scale replicas of Henry Moore's 'Reclining Figure' sculpture
1 x Tube KY Jelly (industrial size)
2 x Pairs Marigold gloves (1pr Large, 1pr Dazza sized)
1 x 2GB Compact Flash card and appropriate camera
5 x 500watt halogen security light fittings, to provide sufficient light to allow a really quick shutter speed and thus reduce blurring
1 x 3000watt deisel generator to power the above
1 x 16' square tarpaulin (You know how upset they get at the Foxglove if we get 'stuff' all over the car park)
1 x Steve Davis signed snooker cue (Steve might have to help out with this one)
2 x Club walkie talkies, we don't want no bovver wiv the Rozzers again, do we. Whose turn is it to be lookout?
1 x Pair of step ladders (just in case Dazza gets the above job)
1 x Babel fish, so that the new lad can understand a word Al says
1 x Tom Tom sat nav (any model) to allow him to have a chance of getting home from the FG unaccompanied
1 x 'My **** Has Piles (TM)' comfy seat cushion, to help in pain relief on the drive home
and finally
2 x AA batteries, for 'You know what'
(Bet he doesn't turn up now )

Through the darker months there may be 8-12 cars, rising to a regular 20 when the fairweather crew come out of hibernation. If the Hull guys come over (Al, we really.....you know ) then we have seen as many as 40 We also have runs out to places like Strines Moor/Snake Pass, Yorkshire Dales etc, convoys to events like NBO/TOTB and our very own trackdays (coming up on Apr 8th).

Welcome
Welcome to the bestest, greatest, most friendly Impreza owners club in the whole of West Yorkshire
Don't worry too much about Sticky, he's going through a bit of a transitional period, puberty I think it's called or is that Dazza i'm thinking of
Anyway, assuming your money comes through OK, get yaself down to the meet, I would highly recommend meeting up at the Holmfield Arms for the entertaining run over Emley. If you're feeling really brave, at the end of the evening you can have a go at keeping up with Corradoboy on the way back
Unfortunately it looks like I'll be missing this one as I'm gonna be stuck in Reading all week due to work

Don't sit at the same table as 1,234,233,723, he's huge, and he'll nick yer food.
69 is usually fun to be around

Bugger me! (calm down Apple)
You bump into a distant memory of the ghost of a former member at a motorsport show a hundred miles away, and he pops back up as though he'd never been away.
Hi mate. Be good to see you attending again.
Al, the trophy is safely stowed at my place, but seeing as we no longer have a pool table at the regular meet it's gonna have to be awarded for something else.
And the award for best Sarrazin replica graphics on an STi8 goes to...
We'll leave it where it is for now
Folks, your nominations for the potential recipient of said trophy will be more than welcome. First one to mention anything about 'police' or 'stings' gets a kick in the knackers
