my unfortunate incident
Still amazed (and very greatful) I didn't hit the Sticky Wagon especially as Sticky was stood on top of aforementioned wagon at time. Top marks for Clare's multiple words of reassurance.

Looks like a word with Alton cars on Monday - thanks Al.
Will try and get some crash free video footage up soon.

Good lord mate, only heard about this after your departure.
First things first, absolutely relieved none of you were hurt in the off, And hats off to Clare for keeping her composure and reasuring repeating words, to keep you calm, and bring home the fact that you were both alright. Excellent
How close to Sticky's van scary stuff mate, but so so relieved your both unhurt.
Metal mends relatively easily, some times people don't

Simon, did you hit that puddle? That seems to have put you in the spin.....
Only thing knocked was a small door crease and the bumper popped from some connectors...
Trust me, if we were to do a bigger track and pay 10 times the amount, then any 'offs' would be much, much bigger... That was a low speed off in anyone's book and seemed like the puddle caught you on the turn in on a safe part of the track... Plus it had been raining, so any slide would have been exagerated by the damp....
Don't beat your self up mate.. you weren't dickin about or being stupid... just a little unlucky...
BTW.. Clare's reaction & composure was simply awesome.... a special lady...

Thankfully I never dissed your Polo, so I hope you'll return the favour when I'm in a Matiz or other suitable shocker

Echo what's already been said, Glad you're both OK and the car wasn't too seriously damaged. Very lucky for all involved. I had an image of Sticky jumping up off the roof of his van like Charly Chan as it got swiped from beneath him, only to land on his feet in a karate pose I went out a little later after a small shower, and although most of the track was dry, there were some very slippery bits, especially at the bottom end. I think the dust kicked onto the track by the rallycross guys holds the moisture, making for some interesting and sudden changes of grip. Again, as said by others, well done Claire for the support and rightly placed concern.
