From: Some say he has frost on his helmet...
Dave, your car looks setup very soft, did you have them turned down...
I'll put the pic of Sticky's car as the next pic, same camera angle but less roll
I like that shot BTW

Started the day at 9/9 but it was very skittish. Dave Carter followed me and said he couldn't get near me from the apex and out of the bends. His extra gee-gee's meant he reeled me back on the straights, only for me to lose him in the next bend. I then softened it back to 7/6 for Helen as she didn't want to fight the car. I moved it back to 8/7 as a compromise thereafter which given the changeable conditions seemed wise. Both Al and Dave commented on how much more composed it looked, a fact compounded by my tyre wear. As you expect at Blyton, the N/S/F took the bulk of the abuse, but showed even wear right across signifying that the tyre to surface alignment was spot-on. The amount of roll in each shot could also be dictated by the driver and the line they choose. I tend to turn into that corner early giving me plenty of breathing space on the outside should I need it. Following the S's the car has a lot of pendulum effect and would love to swing it **** out at that point (the whole point in the design of that complex I am told by its owner and designer) and I like to be prepared if it does. Next time we'll all have a drive in each others to formulate a balanced opinion, if everyone's game.
Agree on the pic Keep it up

Dave, the AST's did look stable, flat and the car well balanced. I don't think the pictures can tell the whole story as you'd have to see it over a series of bends...
Dave C's car was definately compressed.... Squatting a lot under power. This obviously meant the front nearside got the brunt on acceleration after suffering under the cornering loads.
Dave did say it was squatting, but should be taken into consideration along with his driving style which is agressive and attacking.... Daza was impressed I think he's running standard suspension too, so I'd say that needs sorting in order to save his tyres under his increased power.....
No one else had similar tyre problems (even Paul) so I'd say something like the AST's would flatten the car allowing him to put the power down better and allow him to go a lot quicker....
You should think about the rest of the T20/25 handling pack of Anti-lift, uprated drop links and ARB's all round and quick rack.... Much bigger difference to just the AST's... Dazza's drove mine briefly at the last track day (when we went to take the photo) and immediately noticed the composure...
But yes, the AST's were noticeably different... (I didn't say better as that's purely a personal thing.......)
