Blyton track beast looking for a new home
After 2 very successful blyton days we are looking to change from the trusty Peugeot to something either rear or 4 wheel drive for this years coming outings. Therefore the Peugeot is looking for a new home.
Full details will be posted in the for sale section on scoobynet as well as an ebay auction (I will post the auction number soon).
However for starters the car's details are
1989 F plate Peugeot 309 GTI 3 door
10 point OMP cage including door bars with full registration documents - new for this car
pair of cobra Monaco seats on runners (i.e. not fixed position) - from an old show cars
pair of 3 point harnesses - new for this car
Battery relocated to the boot with isolator
fire extinguisher fitted - new for this car
full stainless exhaust
air induction kit
stipped to a bare minimum
sunroof removed and plated with Aluminium (crude but effective)
10 wheels with various tyres
spare brake pad
various other spare parts
rear suspension lowered 40mm, front standard as I haven't had time yet
97,000 miles, approx 145bhp and <800kg thats about 180bhp/ton
The car is currently SORN but should pass an MOT
This car cost us £1200 to build (£250 car, £400 cage, £200 seats, £50 harnesses, £100 exhaust, £100 wheels, £100 other bits)
We want to recover a fair chunk of this. All those at Blyton either this time or last know the car runs well (other than a knackered battery) and has suprised more than a couple of people. It is now available for sale.
If people want to take the **** out of it feel free but the last blyton day out cost me £25 in fuel and £10 in tyres (I buy a full set of wheels+tyres from ebay for £50-£80, then sell wheels only for £15 each). If it gets binned then so what, new shell - £150. A number of people have said its a good idea, the club itself is possibly interested so here is a chance.
No SENSIBLE offer refused
Pictures throughout the blyton threads and made internationally famous in Banzai mag, more pictures on request.
