Toyo Proxes T1-S's
Dave you were asking about the two tyres I have, they are 215/40/17 both worn about the same but still good for a couple of track days if you want 'em.
I also have one (same dimensions as the others) that is almost new (ask Al) that has a screw in it, you could get it fixed if you wanted but it's up to you.
See Ya

I'll have a looksee at them and compare them to what's on already. If it balances out the wear until I need a full set (UltraC's next ) then all will be well. I won't be getting my wheels back until thursday when I see Dave Carter. Shall I pick you up for the Hull run, assuming you're coming.
I also need to make sure the different profiles won't upset the AWD, but as the WRX doesn't have a centre diff I shouldn't think so

Host them in a www.photobucket.com gallery and copy the line of text in the bottom panel under the req'd pic labelled "Img" and paste it on here.

They would be ideal, but I have concerns over the diffs with the different profiles. I have asked the question in WT&B and had one person come back saying I shouldn't do it. The difference will be 10.8mm (0.4"), and I have heard horror stories from people saying even a 4mm difference in wear on tyres with the same profile can kill the diff Probably Scoobynet guff, but given that I could be exceeding that by 250% then I have to get it clarified before I commit.

This one...
...looks illegal anyway Daz. The law states 1.6mm across the centre 3/4 ot the tyre, and visible tread pattern to the edges. In the pic it looks bald on the left edge

Yup. The screw was picked up only a few hundred miles after getting all 4 replaced at Motorsport Wheels. It couldn't be repaired as it was too close to the shoulder.... Good for the track though with a £10 patch..

It would be a judgment call on the tread depth I think
The outside edge was caused by the collapsed bearing it was probably going over a period time looking at it.
You're welcome to the tyres anyway, I don't want owt for 'em, you'll have to see if you can get another two from somewhere else.
I'll let you know tomorrow if I can come on the Hull run.
