Default Looking for a good quality paint shop.....

After a year of owning the car I think it's time to spruce her up in time for the summer.

Basically looking to get an Orciari grill (thanks again Dave) painted and fitted along with the obligatory stone chips on the lower bumper and one very very very annoying one on the bonnet (thanks to a rather large lorry).

Any ideas in the West Yorkshire area? Obvioulsy want them to be very good at a reasonable rate. Last two places I took the old motor to found driving the car too much of a temptation, plus I wasn't too impressed with the overall work.

Any comments appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Rob.

Alton cars are getting a bit of press as a decent outfit who did Knobby's and who are now doing mine and Simons car. I can't fault their friendliness and customer service and Ian's car was a top job. Not sure how mine will turn out, as it's a bigger job than just a respray....

As mine is an Insurance job, I don't know if they're the cheapest around, but Simon may be better placed to say as I put him on to them and he may have rang around for a quote before plumping for them......

Ring through reception on 0113 386 2800 and ask for Ian.

Just say that Al sent you from the Subaru club and see what the man says...

They're in Leeds on Saxton lane. You can't miss them on the RHS heading past the DHS building on your left....

Hi Rob I had mine done at Caltons,
Not too sure if you saw the thread but there work is second to none.

I have a good working relationship with the owner, as he does all the work on my fleet of vans. he does work for BMW and Mercedez and more often than not has a top mark of some kind in his shop.

He had my car for two weeks due to the extensive and proffesional job he did and the mileage had not risen a single mile.

He prides himself and his staff on treating all the cars as there own.

Cheers Alan/ Mick

Will sound them both out but will no doubt end up taking it to one or the other. If either are good for you guys that will do for me.

Thanks again

Rob

Emley Refinishers are an excellent family run buisness, done some great quality repairs for our company they also undertake work that the bigger national bodyshops have messed up. Lez the guy who owns it is a nice chap who is always willing to help...

No I didn't ring around as I just wanted it done quickly and professionaly. Dropped a few names of fine upstanding members of the community so hopefully didn't get ripped off. Can't really complain they've done an excellent job, the door is as good as new (oh yeh it is new ) and the bumpers looking great again. All done in pretty quick time too, took in Tues, ready lunch time today free courtesy car (and petrol) and a nice efficient and friendly service.
