Skirlington Holiday Park ** Easter Break **
Greetings all
Dave Carter is having an Easter break at his Holiday home at Skirlington Holiday Park, and has made an open invitation for any of us WYIOC'ers to join him at the east coast for the day.
Dave has not got internet connection on holiday so has asked me to post on his behalf.
There are all sorts of amenities for young an old
Indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, sunbed* Disco/ballroom dancing Entertainment Restaurant, takeaway, bars serving food Well stocked fishing lake 9 hole putting green Sunday market Adventure playground Mini ten pin bowling* Amusements* Soft play area Launderette* Shop
Skirlington is just up on the east coast slightly north of Hornsea and 'well' south of Bridlington, so not a million miles from Beverley.
Like said this is an open invitation, for all.
So if you fancy doing something with the kids, and or fancy an East coast run out, or even just to Wreck someone elses perfectly good holiday why notI ask
Thanks Dave for the offer
any takers

Right Ladies and Gentlemen
Were are meeting at Ferrybridge services at 10:30 this gives us a bit of a lay in and additionally makes it not too long a day.
Seriously having a steady drive through to Skirlington, and with Skirlington not being one of the main east coast resorts, easter traffic won't be an issue.
There is no real plan for the day, with us having kids with us it will be based more around what's there for them to do, it will make a change for them being able to be kids rather than extensions of us petrol heads.
I am pretty sure us growed up's will be able to have a laugh, and there is several watering holes on site
Weather looks good at the min, so a good day should be had by all
Kids and adults alike are allowed to use the swimming baths thanks to dave's residancy, and in the afternoon they have a fun session where they put ***** and floats in, so dont forget the swimming gear, should you or they wish to partake.
Not many confirmed takers at the mo be a shame to let this go, more so as it gives all the familly a day out, revolved around famillies at easter
1. Mick.Jackie & kids (Sunday)
2. Paul Debs & kids
3. Dave carter and Familly (already their)
