I've just got off the phone to a mate of mine who said hes been hassled for nearly an hour by the police at tingley roundabout

Apparentley, they're randomly pulling over vehicles , giving them a COMPLETE check over for anything thats the least dodgy,tyres, emmisions, insurance ,tax etc & asking questions about wether youve got a criminal past, are you working, paying tax, where are you going etc

seems a bit ott to me as I thought most of the car related stuff can be done by getting a reg plate and running it through their databases.

anyway, thought you'd like to know if you dont want the hassle for an hour

nothing worse than plod on a mission, all the illegal imigrants without tax, ins, or use of the english language will be let go, too difficult to prosicute. And the rest of us will increase police revenue in the area
