Default WHAT WOULD YOU DO PART 2

Right called goldens today they have told me that my car will be ready on the 17 of may 06 which means it will have been off the road for 12 weeks or 3 months. this is a pic of the last time i saw her on the day after the hull run

the days ive used it since the first breakdown on the 26th of feb

are;

1)The strines run and two days after

2)The day before blyton,blyton track day and back to the garage the day after

3)The hull run then the morning after

Now im going to speak to the M.D at the garage on wed afternoon so the question is WHAT WOULD YOU DO AND SAY to them

personally its a good job i car'nt get my hands on my SA-80A2 because im feeling a hostage situation at the moment

cheers lads and lasses any input is always apreciated thanks JAMES K. (JB24)

P.S to add insult to injury the milk bar on the second was to be my first unoffical date with a 19 year old blond and her half sister and i don,t think the remo has the same affect as the scoob!

cheers james.

I'd say what the hell, Are they gonna build you a new car or something?
Go down and have a word or 2 with the main man, tell him that the problems you had with the car when you bought it and what problems you have now also tell him you are going to write to subaru HQ in the uk and tell them of whats happened and what the garage have said they will do now and you did not expect this quality of service after many years of ownership, and how unpleased you are and many other owners can't believe that the problem has not been fixed, and see what the man has to say and take it from there, see if they give you any money back, also contact the warranty people as they are different to subaru 3 year warranty and see if they can offer any advice, i.e move to another dealership..
Another option may be to use the SGA 1979 i think as you brought the car from a dealership, they have to provide some warranty on the car etc, under s14 under fit for it's purpose and durability may have been breached therfore may entitle you to a few soloutions such as money back, refund, repairs in reasonable time now is 6 weeks reasonable? etc so you get the idea,
Right now what you needs to do, is go and grab the main men by the necks, well not like that but speak with them and what you are going to do and what options they can offer you try to bargin with them to get the best etc but I think if it was to take that long then they should atleast offer another scoob for that time..
