Do Unicar do this in Leeds? Not sure. They do loads of alarm stuff there and are pretty well talked about. Give them a try.

Audiocar in Smelby.

Did offer the club a 10% discount when we first went all 'official', but don't think anyone took him up on the offer.

I could have a word with him and ask politely, or call him yourself 01757 709910.

Chap's name is Brian (or Bry).

IMHO it's a right PITA, and I *think* it's not approved by any insurance companies, but stand to be corrected on that.

In fact, I've to go to Smelby to measure up for a job today, just round the corner from his gaff, give me a bell in the next hour or two if you fancy nipping over with me.

Mine was fitted by Unicar and was part of MadGrips's group buy at £130. I think the unit is superb and have had only the expected keypad problem. As long as you know how to pop it into "valet" made when at garages etc it's no bother, as keying in the code becomes second nature. I've only forgotten to do it probably twice in the last 6 months. THIS was the latest GB I could see but I have no idea whether you're too late or if they'd sneak you onto it.

I had this on my Nova SR (don't ask!!!) Got it fitted at Technicar in Ossett but not sure if they're still doing alarms or not. Got mine fitted as part of the Concept system.

It's great until you get in, drive off, whack the stereo up and then wonder why the car stops after a few minutes, alarm blaring out.

Plus that and leaving the car in airport parking with full instructions to come back to find battery flat cos some teenage muppet has just jumped in to tear it round the car park!

Apart from that great thing to have as if you ever get hijacked (heaven forbid) you can just get out knowing your car will be just down the road!
