Last night's Top Gear...
...had some utterly breathtaking shots of the new Jag on Buttertubs pass and around Ribblehead.
So, a plan...
We'll take a day off work in a few weeks, let's say a Wednesday in June, and go for a run up there to take some nice arty photos.
Midweek daytime will obviously not suit everyone, but I'd hope a few of us would be able to make it. CB in particular, as he usually misses out on the weekend impromptu shoots.
Wanting a particular shot of mine below the arches of the Ribblehead viaduct.
Any days/dates better or worse for some?

Hmmm...
Did a 'dawn raid' back in September last year with the MTB club, whereby we set off from Ingleton and climbed Ingleborough in time for sunrise...
Anyone fancy sunrise at the Ribblehead viaduct on the 21st?
Would mean something like a 2am start!
It's an idea though...

If we're making a day of it we could expand the locations maybe. What about dawn at Whitby Abbey, and then on to other places of photographic potential. Brimham Rocks, Malham Cove, Scar House Reservoir, Howden Dam (Ladybower), Mamm Torr etc etc.....

Given the time needed to get camera's and cars set up for some proper nice photo's we would possibly have to limit the driving time, unless its click and dash, but thats not really the best way to get some nice arty photo's.
Its not out of the ordinary for me and Sticky to spend a couple of hours getting the shots in at any one location, I would like to get some rolling shots in too, that would mean hanging out the back of someones car while the rest follow in different positions.
Ribblehead is a must as Sticky is inspired

It has already been mentioned that the tw'Atom's first picture outing would be over Ribblehead, due to its excellent fast undulating straights near Ingleton and the wonderful open sweeping bends beyond the viaduct
