hi me and my mate are going up to the york meet this weekend.in our scoobys, can we tag along in the convoy if so were are you going to meet and what time.

 

Hi mate see the thursday impromtu meet thread, were meeting at the trading post to discuss this very thing and additionally, other club things

we should know more on timings and where the meet point will be on thursday night,
your more than welcome to join us for the run up we just have to arrange the start time and meeting place, or even bob along thursday

 

The event opens to the public at 9am and events begin at 10.30am. I would hazard a guess that we will have a small group going up early at maybe 8am to set up the WYIOC stand, followed by a main convoy arriving at 9.30-10am.

I would predict the best plan to meet at the Trading Post at 9am for the main convoy up, as it's about a half hour drive along M62, up A1 to A64 and on to Elvington.

Does this sound agreeable, as I think we've left this a little late to organise properly
